Adam Murphy
Director of High Performance
With over 19 years of experience in the strength and conditioning industry, Adam Murphy is a highly respected Strength and Conditioning Coach based in Adelaide, known for his expertise in athletic performance and player development. As the Director of High Performance at AMSC, Adam has worked extensively with elite athletes, including NBL stars like Mitch Creek, Nathan Sobey, Jack McVeigh, and others.
From 2016 to 2020, Adam served as the High Performance Manager for the NBL, where he played a pivotal role in helping professional basketball players maximise their potential through tailored strength and conditioning programs. He holds a Master's Degree in Exercise Science, majoring in Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science from Flinders University.
Since founding AMSC in 2010, Adam has specialised in improving youth athletic performance, with a strong emphasis on biomechanics, injury prevention, and long-term player development. Under Adam's guidance, athletes benefit from scientifically backed training methods designed to enhance strength, agility, and overall athletic longevity.
Adam's deep understanding of the human body, combined with his passion for optimising athletic performance, makes him one of Adelaide's leading strength and conditioning coaches.
Fraser Gehrich
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
With over a decade of hands-on experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management, Fraser graduated in 2010 as part of the inaugural cohort for the Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Tasmania. As an accredited Exercise Physiologist, Fraser is passionate about helping amateur athletes stay on the field by focusing on injury prevention through strength training and mobility improvement.
Since 2020, Fraser has been delivering veteran exercise programs, allowing him to work with a broad range of conditions, from acute musculoskeletal tears and strains to pre- and post-joint replacement rehabilitation, diabetes exercise programs, and falls prevention. His dedication to keeping people moving and improving long-term health outcomes has made him a vital part of our team at AMSC.
Fraser is currently furthering his expertise by studying Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, ensuring he remains at the cutting edge of human movement and rehabilitation practices.
